Bridging Gaps Between Education Institutions

In a groundbreaking initiative aimed at fostering collaboration within Lesotho’s education sector, Mpepuoa Weekly has successfully brought together key institutions, including the Council on Higher Education (CHE), the National Manpower Development Secretariat (NMDS), and Lerotholi Polytechnic, through the Lesotho Parliament’s Social Cluster.

For years, these institutions operated in isolation, often leading to a lack of coordination, student hardship, and a failure of accountability. Mpepuoa Weekly, as the country’s first pro-education movement, took the lead in changing this reality by encouraging dialogue, cooperation, and a shared vision.

Through this initiative, education stakeholders were reminded that their common goal is to provide students with the best possible learning experience. By facilitating open discussions, Mpepuoa Weekly has paved the way for improved communication, better policy alignment, and a more student-centered approach to higher education governance.

As the movement continues its work, the hope is that these collaborations will result in long-term reforms, ensuring that no student is left behind due to bureaucratic inefficiencies. Mpepuoa Weekly remains committed to championing education, fostering accountability, and creating a future where institutions work together—not apart—for the benefit of all students.
